About this service
Better at Home provides community-based services from volunteers, contractors and from our local non-profit organization. Better at Home offers affordable non-medical home support services to seniors in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country and Peachland. Examples of services provided include:
- Friendly visiting,
- Transportation,
- Light yard work,
- Minor home repairs
- Light housekeeping
- grocery shopping
This program is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland.
