About this service
People In Motion is excited to announce that we have developed a new program that will help individuals who require lift equipped transportation services get Out & About. Individuals who require wheelchair accessible transportation can travel along with their friends and family members to the many sites and attractions throughout the Okanagan.
People In Motion has a wheelchair-accessible van:
We also have a Dodge Caravan rear entry/ramp model with room for 1 wheelchair and 3 passengers plus the driver. This vehicle may be borrowed by members of People In Motion, so that they can easily access and experience the Okanagan Valleys fabulous array of community & natural resources. By phoning the People In Motion office at (250) 861-3302, members may borrow a van on a first come first served basis, in exchange for a suggested donation.
