It was OMAHS' dream, lead by our long time president, Mr. Larry Nissen, to erect affordable housing adjacent to our current townhouses at 115 Gerstmar Road. Larry was a tenant at 115 Gerstmar many years before he became the president of OMAHS. After living in the complex, he became an advocate for affordable housing throughout BC. As such, Nissen Crossing will be remembered as Larry's legacy.
Nissen Crossing will contain bachelor, one and two bedroom units. These units will be offered at or slightly below then current market rents. Unfortunately, these units will not be subsidized.
The OMAHS office will relocate to the Nissen Crossing Apartments once ready for occupancy.
