MCSSBC - Child Trauma Play Therapy

This program uses a combination of mainly play and art trauma therapy, as well as supportive, ego-strengthening cognitive-behavioral and insight-orientated approaches.

Children who will benefit from this program are those who have been exposed to trauma and have lost trust in themselves, others and the world in general. We offer to children the freedom to self-express within the safest context and in their own pace and time. The therapist becomes a guide, a story teller, a companion, a keen observer, and a proactive listener, helping them to feel understood, respected, honoured and fully accepted for who they are.
