Our Outreach & Housing support programs support clients who are either homeless or at risk of homelessness due to crisis or transition. Assistance is provided to find immediate or long-term housing within the community through connections and referrals to community programs. The program also provides a broad range of support for clients to access alcohol and drug counselling and treatment, transportation to medical appointments, help to apply for government benefits, life-skills, and other appropriate counselling and/or case-management in partnership and collaboration with other community service providers.
Every Saturday morning (except holiday weekends and Christmas Recess) at 8:30 am, we serve our Saturday Outreach Breakfast a hot breakfast available to all community members in need. Hot coffee is always available in our lobby each weekday morning that the Friendship Centre is open.
