The Employment Services program provides support for clients seeking employment, and skills-development, and upgrading. Our strategy aims to meet the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy by being both client and employer-driven. We network with employers to optimize opportunities for employers to attract, retain, and develop careers for urban-Aboriginal peoples in the Kelowna area. Each year, in collaboration with UBCO and Okanagan College, we offer an Aboriginal Career Fair, which provides an opportunity for area youth to connect with potential employers, post-secondary educational opportunities, and to explore career options.
