Courage for Youth - Voices

The Voices curriculum helps girls and boys develop and maintain positive friendships.

The program exposes girls and boys to the realities of relational aggression (bullying) and the influence of toxic media on self-image. It promotes strong decision making skills, healthy relationship and develops self-respect. Presentations are fun and interactive by engaging students with role plays, videos, personal stories, daily challenges, and small group work.

Voices is a 7.5 hour program (5 units at 90 min each) that meets provincial curriculum learning outcomes in British Columbia and Alberta. An optional grade 3 mentorship module and a girl / boy conversations module are available to further solidify skill sets. Voices can be delivered as an afterschool program, summer program, or within the classroom to aid in making a smooth transition into middle school.
