PCK - Osprey program

Osprey Place offers a full time attendance program Monday through Friday available to adjudicated youth who are living with substance use issues. The program works in partnership with the Elizabeth Fry Society to provide 'care-home' beds in the Kamloops community. This care home model encourages safety, respect, and support for youth attending the program. The Osprey program is based on a holistic model of care where all realms of wellness are taken into consideration. Each youth has unique circumstnaces and is approached form a trauma-informed lens to provide treatment plans and approaches which reflect individual needs. The program runs for female groups with continuous intake throughout the year and is comprised of a wide range of activities which include but are not limited to school, recreation, groups, one-on-one support and volunteering. Referrals to the program come from the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
