About this service
The Settlement Workers In Schools program (SWIS) is a school-based outreach program that assists students in Kindergarten to Grade 12. This program helps students and their families easily transition and integrate into school life and ensure success at school and in the community. We help students and their families overcome language barriers, interpretation, understanding school policies and procedures and advocate for student needs, supports and resources, as well as their social and emotional well being.
