About this service
The Key Worker program provides families with an opportunity to gain and access community supports for their children who are affected with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) as well as Complex Developmental Behaviour Conditions (CDBC). Through accessing Key Worker support, families will receive positive, solution-focused strategies to address their specific needs.
Key Workers assist families to obtain an assessment through Interior Health Childrens Assessment Network (IHCAN) and interpret their childs assessment. They assist families with implementing recommendations from the assessment and provide them with skills and strategies to address specific behavioural concerns.
Who can use it?
Children who are affected with FASD as well as CDBC.
