About this organization
We believe that affordable home ownership provides strength, stability and self-reliance thus helping families break the cycle of poverty. After a careful selection process, Habitat for Humanity provides partner families with a chance at home ownership. No down payment is required, our Habitat mortgage is interest free, and families are required to pay 30% of their wages towards their mortgage. Families must also commit to 500 ?sweat equity? hours towards the building of their home.
