About this service
Women who are victims of family violence are provided support services such as assistance in locating affordable housing, transportation, advocacy, accompaniment to medical appointments, lawyer appointments & court appearances.
For clients who require long-term support after they leave the shelter or need a longer term community counselling program. Client directed positive life changes encourage women to explore strategies that help build independence and confidence. A counsellor will meet you in a safe place in the community and provide support and counselling, safety planning, goal setting and referrals to community resources.
