About this organization
A Youth Outreach Worker (YOW) works one-on-one with youth in a non clinical setting that means we can go for a coffee or a walk, visit the parks or beaches or we can even just go for a drive. All of these activities provide private, confidential settings that doesnt feel as clinical. Initially meetings are set up on a once a week basis until both the YOW and the client feel that goals have been met. At this point they may decide to meet bi-weekly or whatever is comfortable. Contact via text is also utilized in between visits when necessary.
