About this organization
The Columbia Valley Food Bank provides needed support for individuals and families whose current needs are not being met by society.
While our ultimate goal is to go out of business because society no longer needs this service and ensure everyones right to food is realized. In the interim we will continue to marshal the donations provided to us for distributing healthy food and support in a responsible manner.
We provide a safe, welcoming and respectful environment, and ask for the same consideration from our clients in their interactions with our staff and volunteers. We believe everyone has the right to:
- Be treated with patience, understanding, dignity and respect
- Be treated equally
- A safe physical and emotional space
If you phone your order in to us on the day before or the morning of your visit, our volunteers will be able to put the hampers together in advance.
