About this service
Being active is important to physical and mental health. Living on a low income can make this difficult. If you are living on a low income, we have some ways that may help you access recreation services.
If you are living on a low income, you may be eligible for the LIFE Program.
The LIFE Program provides access to recreation facilities for a year (January 1 December 31).
Applicants apply each year.
Apply by completing the LIFE Application Form and provide the required documents (as indicated on the form). Applications will require proof of income and marital status. Incomplete applications may be delayed.
How soon can I apply for the next year?
Starting December 1, applicants can apply for the next year.
Submit completed Application Form and required documentation to:
Sechelt Aquatic Centre, Gibsons & Area Community Centre or Pender Harbour Aquatic & Fitness Centre.
Please allow a few weeks for your application to be processed.
