About this service
Provides individual and peer support for pregnant women and postnatal mothers, and provides resources and support to new parents. Resources cover issues such as the importance of early secure attachment, nutrition, suggestions for healthy lifestyle choices, breastfeeding, pre and postnatal mental health challenges, baby development, and parenting.
The program includes 2 weekly hot lunch groups, cooking and nutritional information for a healthy pregnancy, support for breastfeeding and babys first foods, clothing swaps, resource sharing, and one to one support.
No referral is required, the program is free and confidential. There are two weekly groups per week - in Gibsons and Sechelt. For more personal one on one support, we can arrange to come to meet with you.
Please note: Once a month the La Leche League support group takes place before the Bellies and Babies session. La Leche League has breastfeeding help groups from mothers for all women interested in breastfeeding all over the world.

Pregnant women and new parents with babies birth to one year.
