Gibsons Cold Weather Shelter

There is a 10-bed temporary shelter, operated by the Salvation Army, open nightly from 7pm to 7am at St. Bartholomews Church at 659 North Road. Cold weather items such as sleeping bags, tents, warm socks, gloves, winter coats, waterproof gear and other warm clothes like base layers are always in demand. The hours for the shelter are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. There will be seven beds, with possibility for a few more as needed. The shelter will be run again by the Salvation Army, in their space next to the Panago in Gibsons. Its the same space as last year, and its where they run other programming like their food bank.
