About this service
There will be a Summer Reading Camp for kids ages 4-12. Starting July 4th and ending August 3rd.
On Tuesday ages 4-7 meet at 10-11 am and Thursdays ages 8-12 meet at 10-11 am. Program starts July 4th and ends August 3rd (5 weeks) The theme is Canadas 150th. Each week well be incorporating something about each province/territory.
Week one is all about British Columbia.
Week Two is about Prairie Provinces; Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba.
Week Three is about Maritime Provinces; New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island.
Week Four is about the Territories; Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon.
Week Five is about Ontario, Newfoundland, and Quebec.
Well be doing crafts related to Canada (Beaver, flag, inukshuk, polar bear, geese,) reading books (ages 4-7 books will be written by Canadian authors.), playing games and encouraging reading at home.
