About this service
This program provides individual, family, and group counselling for youth in the Fort St John and Dawson Creek areas who are involved in the Criminal Justice System.
Youths can be referred through the Dawson Creek and Fort St. John Probation Offices and may self refer if they are on a Youth Probation Order or an Alternative Measures Agreement.
Youth involved with the Criminal Justice System receive assessment and treatment services that address risk to re-offend, mental health needs, and psychological and social functioning.
Individual/group counselling may include:
- Family and peer relationships.
- Social skills.
- Self-esteem.
- Anger management.
- Exploration of cycle of offending behaviours.
- Setting up a relapse prevention plan.
