About this service
The Sexual Abuse Intervention Program provides services to children and youth who have been victims of sexual abuse.
PROGRAM FOCUS
- Providing appropriate treatment and support for children and youth who have been sexually abused to reduce the likelihood of adverse long-term consequences of sexual abuse trauma.
- We provide treatment for children under the age of 12 with sexually intrusive behaviours.
- Managing or reducing problematic behaviours.
- Assisting non-offending family members to support children and youth who have experienced sexual abuse.
- Educating the public on the prevention and early detection of child sexual abuse.
- We also provide referrals to other agencies and services.
