About this service
The Fort St. John Association for Community Living provides a variety of services varying from total care for individuals with high needs to semi-independent living for those who require less support. The number of individuals living in the homes vary, as well as the level of support required.
Home Sharing: Home sharing is a residential option in which an adult with a developmental disability shares a home with someone who is contracted to provide ongoing support.
Respite: For families of adult children with special needs; respite means families get a break knowing that their loved one is in a safe and healthy environment. This can be provided in some of our staffed residences or we might be able to assist you in finding someone to deliver the respite for you. We sometimes have people who are waiting for the right home share match to come along who have gone through a thorough screening process, and are willing to provide respite.
