This is achieved through the use of specially designed rigid contact lenses worn overnight that reshape the cornea.Upon awakening the lens is removed, and the new shape of the eye allows for clear vision throughout the day. This is a temporary and reversible effect, so retainer lenses must be worn overnight to maintain the effect.
