About this organization
The purpose of the library, its staff and volunteers, is to create a space filled with unlimited resources to enhance the opportunities of the individuals and the communities it serves.
Our Services:
- Service Delivery Communities: The Library provides service to the municipality of Fort St James and surrounding communities, including Nakazdli, Yekooche, Tache, Binche, Takla Lake, Mansons Creek, Germanson Landing, and the rural outlying areas.
- Collection: The Library maintains an everchanging collection that includes fiction and nonfiction for adult, youth and children.
- Computer and Internet Service: The Fort St. James Public Library considers Internet information resources an extension of the material collections. Free Internet access is available at the library through our computer stations and via our wireless network. Library membership is not a requirement.
- LibraryToGo: eBooks and eAudio) and Zinio (eMagazines) Audio book downloads.
