WorkBC Fernie

Some of the supports and services offered through WorkBC include:

• assistance with job searches, including resume and interview preparation;
• employment counselling, as well as follow up to help people maintain employment;
• a new web-based system through which people can request employment services and support using their smartphone or home computer;
• assistive technology for people who have a work-related barrier due to a disability;
• skills training (funding for tuition and living supports);
• living supports during apprentice training;
• preparation for self-employment;
• a wage subsidy program; and
• funding through the Community and Employer Partnerships program for projects that increase employment opportunities for unemployed British Columbians.

WorkBC Fernie is open Mon-Wed, Fri 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Thu 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
