About this service
We believe that death is a natural part of the cycle of life, and that everyone has the right to die with dignity, in as pain-free of a manner as possible, and in a place of their choosing, surrounded by loved ones, as the patient desires. We do not hasten nor postpone death. We simply provide the care & support needed to honour the individuals choices.
The Hospice companions are a trained group of community volunteers dedicated to providing confidential, non judgmental support, comfort and care for individuals and their families in end of life experiences.
Helping is the sole reason for the existence of the Elk Valley Hospice.
Elk Valley Hospice supports everyone involved, from the individual to family and friends.
