About this organization
Fernie Friends for Friends wants to help individuals and families through their Cancer Treatments. If you need help or know of anyone who needs our support through this difficult time, please contacts us. It is very difficult to help the people of Fernie if we are not informed of those who need help. All information shared with us is confidential and will not be shared with anyone other than the people involved.
Our purpose is to support individuals in Fernie who are going through cancer treatment. We would provide monetary aid for medical expenses, incurred out of town. Examples of expenses could include travel, meals, parking and or accommodations.
Our group can also provide support at home. Friends for Friends can assist with meals, help with shopping or just share in a friendly visit.
Families or friends of individuals who are going through cancer treatment can contact our group and request assistance.
