About this service
The lodge has a very welcoming environment, sustained through our long term and dedicated staff group who support clients through the different phases of their lives, and create not just a home for the people served, but a place where individuals are encouraged to set goals that they would like to achieve, big or small. Residents at McCauley are encouraged to be an active part of the community and live as independently as possible; staff are there only to give support when needed.
The residents vary from individuals needing full-time support, to those who are in a transition period, to those who just need a bit of extra support for a short period of time. At the lodge there are always at least a couple mental health care workers on staff, and daily nursing support is available. The lodge offers a meal plan, help with medication, finance and hygiene (dependent on the individuals needs and level of independence).
