About this service
Sex addiction is a very real, yet rarely discussed, mental health concern. Individuals with sex addiction often feel ashamed, embarrassed and are uncertain who to turn to for help. At Burns Clinical we offer non-judgmental, compassionate, evidence based treatment to individuals with concerns about their sexual behaviours. This can be a sensitive issue that is difficult for many people to acknowledge and talk about. At the same time those with sex addiction are often experiencing awful consequences and feel as though life is out of control.
We have a C-SAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist) that has completed additional, intensive training to work in this specialized field. We work with individuals where they are at by providing individual counselling, education and group counselling to those with sex addiction.
