About this organization
We are a all species (even farm animals) rescue who has been doing rescue work for over 20 years. All our animals are local or from BC Shelters.
We are a group of experienced rescuers who have united to improve the lives of unwanted, neglected, and orphaned animals on Vancouver Island and, when resources permit, in remote communities and elsewhere in B.C. We try to help the many pets in the shelter system considered less adoptable because of medical or behavioral problems or simply because their colors, age, or breeds are currently unpopular. At Broken Promises Rescue we believe that all animals deserve a life without pain, hunger, or loneliness. We want them to know they are loved and cherished despite appearance, age, or medical condition.
