About this service
This community programme has provided a special opportunity for moms and toddlers in the Cowichan Valley every Tuesday during the school year for over 35 years. Moms appreciate the break from their daily child care routine, meeting new friends while enjoying guest speakers and other special events. Babysitting is provided by volunteer grandmas from our church family. The children have a ball, learning valuable social skills in a loving and nurturing environment. The volunteers recently received a Champion for Children award from the local Success by Six initiative in recognition of their efforts.
