About this service
Are you the parent, guardian, sibling, or chosen family member of a Queer+ Trans+ or Curious youth? Do you sometimes feel afraid that you will say the wrong thing when it comes to someones gender and/or sexual identity? Are you seeking a safe, non-judgmental place where other caregivers and family members meet to offer support, share stories, and learn together to better support and celebrate the LGBTQ2S+ youth in your life? Do you want to learn what the acronym LGBTQ2S+ stands for? Then this is the group for you!
Back by popular demand, Family Pride is a 4-week support & information group for families of Queer+, Transgender+ and curious youth. This group is a chance to talk and connect to other families and learn in a safe and supportive environment about how to offer effective support to LGBTQ2S+ youth, and make our communities more inclusive and affirming for everyone.
