About this service
Our Medical Equipment Division (MED) of CIL plays an important role in the delivery of healthcare. This program provides consumers with quality medical aids and equipment that is needed to improve their health and well-being and at the same time give them a feeling of being independent.
Other benefits include:
Improved safety for physically disabled clients
Reduction of falling accidents by patients and caregivers
Help improve recovery time
Early discharge from hospital reducing healthcare costs
Encourages self-motivation and independence in patients
For this program to succeed in helping those accessing our services, we require donations from the community. Without those donations, we wouldnt have the beds, scooters, chairs and assorted other pieces of equipment that is requested on a daily basis from many that have no other way of obtaining this equipment.
