About this service
Individual therapy is conducted in a safe, non-judgmental, and private setting with our qualified drug and alcohol counsellor. With the help of our generous donors and the City of Delta, we offer 4 free one-on-one sessions to individuals and families who reside in Delta.
This will be an opportunity for you and a helping professional to talk about why you are interested in counselling and to explore how we might be able to best meet your needs. The counsellor will usually gather information, explain the types of counselling services available on site (both group and individual), and work with you to create a treatment plan. This could mean attending group and individual sessions here, working with members of your family, or working on a referral to an organization that is better suited to meet your needs.
