About this service
Delta Food Coalition (DFC) is a network of community groups working together to address food security issues in Delta. Currently, network agencies are working together to operate programs to address emergency relief in the face of Covid-19. DFC provides coordination of food security initiatives, sharing information on available programs and needs, identifying available resources, and making connections between agencies and resources. DFC leverages community resources and works with member agencies to provide emergency relief to those who have been impacted. DFC functions as a food hub, sourcing fresh, local food and distributing it to people in need, while connecting individuals and families in need with the appropriate community food programs.
