About this service
Both are educational/mutual support programs for parents of youth and young adults.
- Parents Together is for parents of youth 12 to 24 years of age.
- Parents Forever is for parents of youth and young adults (18 and up) who are abusing substances.
Parents Together is a professionally facilitated education and support program for parents who are experiencing challenges while parenting a teen. Parents come to the group with a wide range of issues. Many parents reaching out for support are feeling guilty, blamed by others, isolated, and at a loss as to what to do. Parents describe their youth as defiant, depressed, angry, suicidal, abusive, and unmotivated.
