About this organization
The Delta Concert Band, formed in October of 1964, is comprised of adult-aged amateur musicians from all over the lower mainland of British Columbia. From September through July, we rehearse on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-10:00 pm at Seaquam Secondary School in North Delta. Our repertoire includes a wide range of music mostly at the Grade 3 to 5 level. Concerts in recent years include: Delta parks summer shows, the Ladner Bandfest, a Delta Special Olympics fundraiser, the Boundary Bay Airshow, St John Ambulance Annual Inspection, and collaborations with the Delta Choral Society and the Vancouver Welsh Mens Choir.
