About this service
The programs give children and youth the opportunities to experience sports and recreation, creative arts, literacy, health and nutrition and personal growth. A balance of structured/free play and indoor/outdoor activities are provided each day. Transportation of children from school and for club activities is provided by walking groups from schools in close proximity to the centre or by 15 passenger vans. All Club staff are properly licensed to transport children.
The Kootenay Street Clubhouse challenges children to learn and grow at their own pace, with peers, while providing fun interactive experiences that help build positive relationships, developing confidence and skills for life.
