About this service
The centre provides an environment that is eco-based with an accessible variety of materials for the children to make their own choices freely. The program focuses on the individual needs of children and provides many opportunities for leadership, skill-building, and responsibility through activities and projects.
Some activities offered include sports activity on the sport court, gardening in our large garden plots and solar powered greenhouse, cooking, baking, science, field trips (experiential education), art, drama, community projects, outings to community arenas and parks, biking, swimming and environmental awareness group projects. The program gives children the opportunities to experience sports and recreation, creative arts, literacy, health and nutrition and personal growth. A balance of structured/free play and indoor/outdoor activities are provided each day.
