About this organization
The Public Produce Garden is a community managed, free, public space that aims to increase food security and local food education. The Public Produce Garden was created in 2012 through a partnership with City of Cranbrook and funding from the Union of BC Municipalities, Columbia Basin Trust, and Cranbrook Rotary Club. We welcome everyone in the community to come and take part in the life of a local food garden. From seeding to weeding to harvesting, all tasks are considered equal in this communally managed space.
