About this organization
Army cadets is a Youth Organization that develops leadership skills, while enhancing individual concepts, such as self-confidence, self-reliance, self-esteem and self-discipline. Army cadets develop attributes in youth such as good citizenship and leadership. They also contribute to the promotion of physical fitness, and the participant outcomes of emotional and physical well-being, social/cognitive competence and proactive citizenship.
Fun activities include Field Training Exercises (FTXs) 3 times a year, Map and Compass, orienteering, marksmanship, survival skills, camping in spring, fall and winter (learning different survival skills related to each), night activities, canoeing, wilderness survival skills, summer camps, drill, parades, sports and fitness and a large number of other fun activities.
