About this service
Vancouver Island Community Connections provides services for the Personalized Supports Initiative (PSI) which is funded through Community Living BC (CLBC). The PSI provides services to people living with a diagnosis of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and has met CLBC eligibility requirements. ASD is also known as Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD).
The PSI provides an individualized and personalized approach to meeting the needs of eligible adults by coordinating existing community supports to help people maintain or increase independence. PSI augments, rather than replaces, existing supports. PSI staff provide supports for supported living, employment support, and community inclusion.
