About this service
No one is turned away from our door, and we warmly welcome all. Our clients are families with children, teenagers and adults of all ages. Some of the regulars come from as far away as Royston and Black Creek. Our program is well known far beyond these boundaries, and we regularly get people who are just passing through the Valley.
In addition to providing lunches, we provide clothing, blankets, shoes, books and other items to our clients. Each day is hosted by a different church group:
- Monday - Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Roman Catholic Church)
- Tuesday - Salvation Army
- Wednesday - St. Georges (United Church)
- Thursday - St. John the Divine (Anglican Church)
- Friday - Bay Community Church
