The Beaufort Association For The Mentally Handicapped

Beaufort Association's core is two adult day programs serving 30-35 adults with disabilities. Quest Personal Development Program and Community OptionsProgram. Each participant is assisted in the development of their individual plans. Small group activities provide peer learning and encouragement. Transportation Program: Mini vans provide transportation to and from programa and community activities for people with disabilities. Pet Treat Bakery: Owned and operated by Beaufort Association as a Social Enterprise business employing people with disabilities. Self Advocate Resource Centre: Providing an "open door policy" for information, independence and a place for people with disabilities to meet. Litter Busters Program: Working with the Village of Cumberland, people with disabilities are hired to "Keep out Neighborhood Clean"
