About this service
Regular individual counselling sessions are scheduled with each woman and the Program Director and/or Facilitator. Group sessions are held daily. Depending on individual needs, the women receive additional counselling in the community. Goals include:
- to live drug and alcohol-free
- to deal with substance use triggers
- to be honest about their feelings
- to accept the responsibilities of their actions
- to develop self-esteem
- to reconcile with family and community.
