About this service
SEEDS provides counselling services for families in the Tri-Cites, Anmore and Belcarra with children aged birth to 6 years old. This program is funded by Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH) and referrals must come from CYMH.
Social-emotional development involves a childs awareness, expression, and management of emotions and their ability to create positive relationships with others. Healthy social-emotional expression for young children is developed in the context of consistent, positive relationships with the close adults in their lives.
