About this service
Designed to enhance parents/caregivers parenting knowledge and skills, build confidence and connect with other parents. Topics could include Mind, Emotions & Feelings, Behaviour, Body, Safety and Parent. Each groups specific content is planned according to the participants needs and interests.
Childminding and nutritious snacks are provided. If needed, transit tickets are provided to and from the program location.
Each group runs for 6 weeks, 2 hours each week.
Parents/Caregivers of children up to 5 years of age. Priorities are given to families who are isolated, on a limited income, headed by single parents, and/or are parents under the age of 25. Participants are required to commit to attend all the 6 sessions with a minimal of 4 sessions. Registration is required.
