About this service
Friendship Circle is a social group for youth ages 10-18 years old. The focus is on preparing for adulthood, increasing independence and social skills between peers and in the community. Older youth in the group explore mentorship and leadership skills with the younger participants. There may be opportunities for the group to discuss gender specific issues.
- Who is it for: Youth ages 10-18 with a diagnosed developmental disability.
- When: Wednesday evenings, 2 hours per session.
- Where: SHAREs Lincoln Avenue site, #104-3020 Lincoln Ave., Coquitlam.
