About this organization
COVID-19 UPDATE: We are limiting visitors to the facility. For up-to-date COVID Health and Safety Protocols, please visit https://step-by-step.ca/upcoming-events/
This program runs throughout the year. It involves children aged 12 to 15 years who work alongside the centre staff. They do a variety of tasks, activities, special events and general assistance around the centre.
The focus for this program is:
- To involve youth in a meaningful way with younger children.
- For the youth to practise their leadership skills.
- For the youth to build their confidence and self-esteem as they help others.
