About this organization
The Burquest Jewish Community Association is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to the cultural, social, and education needs of the Jewish population in the Tri-Cities and Fraser Valley Areas of British Columbia, Canada. We are members of the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver.
We have built a community based on inclusiveness. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, a Jew by birth or by choice or within multi-faith marriages.
We offer a variety of programs aimed to keep our Jewish heritage alive and strong at the Burquest Jewish Community Centre pictured below, located in Central Coquitlam, on Dewdney Trunk Road near Mariner..
Our members come from the Burnaby, Tri-Cities area, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows and as far east as Chilliwack in the Fraser Valley.
