About this service
This volunteer driven program has great community benefit and community support. Over 60 families and 40 individuals receive hampers at holiday time. Hamper preparations begin in November and everyone is welcome to contribute with donations and/or volunteer time. Registrations to receive a hamper are also accepted at this time. The program receives funding support from BC Gaming.
The hamper program on Denman Island is coordinated by another community group.
